The Madison County Humane Society (MCHS) will be hosting their 22nd annual dog Walk-A-Thon on Saturday, June 17th, 2023.

Walk anytime between 9:00am & 12:00pm RAIN OR SHINE!

WALK AN MCHS DOG:

Interested in walking a shelter dog, fill out this form (Download Form) and email as an attachment to: info@mchsandersonin.org include "Dog Walk" in Subject.

WHERE:

This year the walk will be at Shadyside Park.  Please respect their
property & pick up after your dog.

HOW:

Walkers can help raise money for the MCHS by getting people to sponsor them with donations (Forms Here) - any amount collected will be greatly appreciated. Walkers will turn in their money, sponsor sheet and signed waiver the day of the walk. If you have any questions, Contact Us.

WHY:

All proceeds benefit the MCHS. The MCHS is a no kill facility where homeless
animals stay until they are adopted. The MCHS houses up to 60 dogs and up to 100 cats at any given time.
The MCHS is a non-profit organization and receives no tax money, thus volunteers and donations are needed for its survival.

T-SHIRTS:

Please pre-register by June 12th to ensure correct size. The MCHS will have t-shirts and other items available for purchase.

RULES:

  • Walkers are responsible for the actions of
    their dogs.

  • Dogs must be on leashes at all times and
    should not be unattended or tied up.

  • Come prepared to clean up after your pet.

  • All dogs must be up to date on vaccines.

  • An adult must accompany children 16 or
    younger.
