Meet The Staff

Susie Schieve

Executive Director

Susie Schieve, now in her 10th year as volunteer executive director of the Madison County Humane Society, has combined her love of animals with her love for the youth in our community. She has not only been nominated, but has even won many awards such as the Community Shining Star Award. Susie gives her staff and shelter's board of directors a lot of credit for the Humane Society's success.

"Some people don't understand why we help animals in need. We don't understand why they wonder."
