Our Mission is to help homeless cats and dogs find loving forever homes, help lost pets find their owners, to promote responsible pet ownership, and to advocate humane treatment of all animals.

The Madison County Humane Society has sustained as a private no-kill animal rescue and shelter in Anderson, Indiana since 1973.

Madison County Humane Society is a 501(c)(3), no-kill cat and dog receiving shelter funded by donations, fund-raising efforts & nominal fees. We receive no taxpayer monies. We shelter more than 100-115 homeless animals every day and often have some in foster care.
